MACEY releases new album ‘Once’

MACEY has emerged as one of New Zealand's most compelling singer-songwriters, earning a reputation for deeply personal storytelling and a sound that blends indie, folk, soul and Brit-pop influences. Following the success of his debut album The Lovers, MACEY has continued to build a loyal audience through his honest songwriting and captivating live performances, establishing himself as one of the country's most exciting contemporary artists.

His sophomore album, Once, is out now through a partnership between Five AM and Warner Music. Written over several years and shaped by time spent writing in London, the record marks a natural evolution in MACEY's artistry, expanding beyond autobiographical songwriting into a broader collection of stories inspired by the people, places and moments that surrounded him.

Spanning 13 tracks, Once showcases MACEY at his most confident, pairing heartfelt lyricism with rich, cinematic production across songs like Mona Lisa Money, Clementine and We Still Happened. The album represents another significant milestone in his career and continues to cement MACEY as one of New Zealand's standout songwriting voices.
