Declaration of Rights Reservation

Five AM Music (“Five AM”, “we”, “us”) and the artists we represent expressly reserve all rights in our works and data. This is a formal opt-out: the use of our catalogue and content to train or develop artificial intelligence is forbidden unless directly licensed with us and the relevant artists.

Our declaration

We opt out of, and expressly forbid, the use of any of our content and data for text and data mining, web scraping, or the training, fine-tuning, development, benchmarking or improvement of any artificial intelligence, machine-learning or generative system, unless a direct written licence has been agreed with Five AM and the relevant artist(s).

What this covers

This reservation applies to all material and data belonging to, created by, or associated with Five AM, our divisions, and the artists and songwriters we represent, including but not limited to:

• sound recordings, musical compositions, lyrics and stems;
• artwork, photography, video and audiovisual material;
• text, design, branding, logos and website content;
• names, images, voices, likenesses and performances; and
• metadata, catalogue information and associated data.

No implied licence

Access to this website or our content does not grant any licence or consent. Nothing on this site may be interpreted as permission to use our works or data for AI or data-mining purposes. This is an express reservation of rights, including for the purposes of any applicable text-and-data-mining exception, and includes machine-readable opt-out signals sent with this website.

Licensing

We are open to conversations about legitimate, licensed use. Any use of our catalogue, content or data — including for AI or data-mining purposes — must be agreed directly and in writing with Five AM and the relevant artists. To enquire, contact hello@fiveam.music.

Enforcement

Any unauthorised use is a breach of our and our artists’ rights, and we reserve the right to take all steps available to us to protect those rights.
