ABOUT FIVE AM

Five AM was founded in 2017 as a production studio in Aotearoa (New Zealand) and has since evolved into a multi-disciplinary independent music company. Today, we operate across record label services, distribution, publishing, touring, sync, and creative production, supporting artists, writers, and producers at every stage of their careers.

Based in Auckland and working globally, Five AM partners with over 400 artists and collaborators, delivering structure, strategy, and execution across music releases, live projects, and commercial opportunities. Our work spans recorded music, touring, publishing administration, sync, and visual creative, including music videos and campaign content.

Alongside our music operations, Five AM functions as a creative agency, developing visual identities, music videos, and content-led campaigns that sit alongside each release. We take a holistic approach, ensuring the creative and operational sides of a project move together.

Since launching, Five AM has grown into one of the largest independent, privately owned music services companies in the Oceanic region, built on long-term thinking, artist-first principles, and a focus on quality over everything.
